Onto the other side
The wildebeest have finally decided to head back south after nearly five months of occupancy in the Mara. While they were here, we were lucky to be right in the midst of it all with guests seeing crossings nearly every day during peak migration time.
Exciting moments of migration time included; a leopard attacking 6 wildebeest while they were waiting to cross the Mara river, herds as big as 5,000 making their way to the other side, and, as always, lots of hungry crocodiles lying in wait for wildebeest and zebras. We were even lucky to see a mini-crossing from the comforts of camp a few weeks ago just past Little Naibor.
Truly an exciting time.
